Location is basically on the nicest shopping street in Madrid, size of rooms was good, a lot of cupboard space (almost a negative), it wasn't very busy in the hotel and mini bar price wasn't as expensive as most.
Tried giving us a junior suite instead of a suite without telling us,we got the suite but only had a twin bed despite an advanced request for a queen. Room didn't have balcony. Satellite and Cable TV listed - more like free view. Uncomfortable fake leather sofa that kept sliding you off. Blind was broken in the living area so the building across could see in. Walls were a bit marked. Furniture was a bit damaged. Poor sound proofing to street which was quite busy at night. Bad wi-fi. Their "room service" was a menu for a near by telepizza, we asked if we could order a Domino's pizza and they said no (they don't get a cut obviously) I did anyway and it was delivered to my door no problem..

The stay was very good, specially with the kitchen facilities that helps when you have young children. Be aware that there might be some rooms with noise from the outside. OVerall a very good experience.
Some rooms might be noisy, i recommend to review the doors and windows for noise reduction.

spacious rooms for very good price in the centre of Madrid, in nice area, and very nice staff. Minibar. Good bathroom.
the smell of chloro in the room after cleaning. The expensive breakfast, while at the bar next door a better coffee and toast is 2,20 euros. WIFI does not work well, as the signal is very low.

The Hotel was located close to the IE Business School in Madrid where my son was enrolling. It is also located in the Salamanca district of the city where there is a high concentration of high end shops and a good selection of restaurants. There are several access points to the city subway system within 10 minutes walk from the hotel in addition to a number of city bus stops. Public transportation in Madrid was excellent. The hotel price in August when most of the city is on vacation and many businesses are shut down was reasonable and the service was very good. I actually extended my stay at the hotel by an additional 4 nights.
The hotel offers a contenental breakfast that is expensive but no other meals are available in the hotel. There are several restaurants within two minutes walk from the hotel though. The area where the hotel is located is expensive in terms of shopping, dining and accommodations.

The triple room we were in was spacious and had a small kitchenette which was very handy as I was traveling with my son, daughter in law and their new baby. The hotel also had a infant bed waiting for us in the room. We choose the hotel because not only was it a couple blocks from the us embassy where we had business, but it was one of the few reasonably price places we could find with a triple room. The third bed was a pullout sofa which was ok but I wouldn't want to sleep on it for more than a night or two. Would be better for a child. The air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was clean.
